About Us

Health & Hustle is a health & wellbeing initiative across the Gloucestershire ICS to support staff and patient groups becoming active and healthy, recognising that one- size does not fit all.

The Hustle was created to provide an environment for promoting healthy lifestyles through taking up activities, by encouraging and supporting each other to achieve active goals. The group encompasses everyone who wants to be part of the activity and celebrates personal achievements no matter how small the achievements are. Walking, movement, running or regularly moving around clinical areas or offices will help achieve the recommended step count, but it is up to the individual to set their personal goals. We say, “Start small to increase your stamina and performance”.

What are the benefits of joining the Health & Hustle?

We set up activities to give staff and patient groups the opportunity at work or at home to create their own active community to support each over in achieving active goals. Members can take part in organised walks or running groups at a minimal cost, however the benefits in the long term are priceless.

Who can take part in the Health & Hustle?

The Hustle was set up for NHS and Council staff across Gloucestershire and is open to organisations in Gloucestershire, however due to the success of the Hustle, we are expanding across Gloucestershire and beyond the boundaries with health partners and providers who wish to use our healthy lifestyle model.  For more information contact the Hustle

What are the rules in the Health & Hustle challenges?

“Simple”, We set up the challenges but you set the rules! It is up to you what you set as a personal goal, and the group is there to support and provide you with a bit of competition. If competition is not for you, go at your pace, 2 steps is better than 1 step, so just try to improve with small goals to build up to your future goals. “It really does work”!
