It is important to be well conditioned and prepared for exercise. As part of being prepared for running with the Couch Programme, we gently warm up using techniques to prepare the muscle groups to minimise the impact of injury. This is as important to cooling down on completion of a run, where we concentrate on stretching the muscle groups. These videos are a guide for warming up and cooling down after your exercise.
