Health & Hustle Review: Kicking Off the Robin Trust 1000km Challenge

The Health & Hustle community came out in full force this weekend as we proudly joined the launch of the Robin Trust 1000km Challenge and what a start it was.  With our founder of the Robin Trust and long‑standing Hustle legend Leslie Macleod‑Downes leading from the front, the challenge began with heart, purpose and a whole lot of hustle spirit.

A Flying Start at Gloucester City parkrun

To officially kick things off, everyone present laced up and completed the Gloucester City parkrun, banking the first 5km of their journey. From first‑timers to seasoned runners, the atmosphere was buzzing as the group crossed the line together, proof once again that when the Hustle shows up, we show up as one.

The energy didn’t stop there. Participants continued adding to their totals throughout the day, logging walks, runs and everyday movement. Every kilometre counts, and every kilometre contributes to the Robin Trust’s mission of supporting people when they need it most.

It’s Not Too Late to Join

If you missed the launch, don’t worry—the challenge is designed for everyone, at every pace, in your own time. Whether you’re walking, running or mixing it up, you can still be part of the journey.

To keep in step with the main group, you can backdate your activity from 6 June, so no one is left behind. This challenge is about community, consistency and celebrating progress, not perfection.
