"Oh What Fun it is to Run" or Walk

Last minute registrations can take place on the day but may delay
your team starting time. As part of the event and is optional, we are supporting a health care professional who has sadly been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

· Event
Meeting Place – The event will
start and finish at Gloucester Sports Shop, 4-6 Worcester Street,
Gloucester GL1 3AA
· Staggered
Start Times – start between 17:30 – 18:15hrs and the event
will finish approx. 20:00hrs once all teams have returned to the finish line.
· Media – BBC
Radio Gloucestershire will cover the event and we will collect photos/videos
during the event to show case everyone’s achievement and capture the Christmas
spirit.
· Prizes
–
Each team member could win some prizes, especially if you see Santa running on
the route and shout “Pause Santa” this is where you can collect a raffle
ticket for the draw at the end of the night.
· Dress
Code
– Dress code for the event is optional and we encourage everyone taking part to
wear something festive or purchase one of the event t-shirts that can
pre-ordered from Gloucester Sports.
· How
does the event work? A member of the team will use strava to track
the team’s distance and time to complete the course. You will receive
checkpoint locations that you can plan your route before setting out. At each
checkpoint you will need to take a selfie with your team to prove you have
visited the locations. See map for route
· Prize
Giving – This will take place once all teams are back and
accounted for on return to event HQ.

Participation in the Health&Hustle_Christmas Fun Run, which could result in injuries, are taken at the individuals own risk, in which the Health&Hustle cannot be held accountable or liable for if such injuries occur during the activity.
If you suffer from a health condition, you should consult with your GP to ensure you are fit to take part. All liability for injury sits with the individual taking part in the activities.
This is a winter event,
and everyone should follow the code of winter activities. Be bright, be seen, be safe and stay with
your team. Any short cuts taken around
the route are taken at your own risk and if anyone experiences urgent issues on
