Kevin Gannaway-Pitts - Founder Health & Hustle, Run Coordinator, LiFR, MHFA


Kevin founded the Hustle in 2016 and as part of the creation of the movement, he developed the couch programme to support NHS staff get more active and fit.  The  couch course started with small groups and has grown into a popular activity open to anyone who wants to try the programme or return to running.  As well as this programme, he has created the 5-10km course, which allows applicants who want to go further and progress towards distance running.  In his daytime job, Kevin is a senior manager working with NHS Gloucestershire ICB Digital Transformation Team and is the chairman of the Aspen Medical Practice patient participation group, that has launched the “WalkTalkWalk”initiative for patients.  Kevin completed his Leadership in Fitness and Running course hosted by UK Athletics in 2022 and is responsible for the development of the Health&Hustle run leaders to ensure the programme can deliver a safely for runners that is enjoyable for anyone who registers with the course.  Recognised for numerous county awards and shortlisted nationally, the real rewards is seeing anyone achieve their personal goals.
