Hustle News Room Update

As we move into the Autumn, we start to think about the dark nights drawing in, but it doesn’t stop us from remaining active.  Routes will change on the running group for safety reasons but we can still maintain the excellent progress made with the #C25K programme.  We have a few more new faces in the group from NHS England, which has been a good time to join, as we have a number of the C25K returning following the launch of the new Community Trust in Gloucestershire last week.

The individual workweek hustle results are in and H8HKevin took the top honours for the second week.  Will it be a treble? Let’s see who can stop him........
Planning for the 2020 Parkrun Passport Challenge is underway and we are planning a number of events where you can get your passport stamped at park runs that you take part in.  You can walk, run or volunteer to qualify and all you will have to do is provide proof you have attended.  The Parkrun challenge team from Health&Hustle will be in attendance at some of these events to capture those moments.
The Cheltenham Challenge 2020 is open for registration http://www.cheltenhamchallenge.org.uk and Team H8H2020 will be taking part again.  Enter the 5km, 10km or half marathon to qualify for a medal and challenge T-shirt.  Those who took part last year can register using the early bird code mailed to you.

We want to say a big congratulations to Laura Harvey who beat her PB this weekend at her local Parkrun recording a new PB 25:52.  Jane Cantwell is halfway to completing 4 half marathons.  So far she has completed the Great North Run and the Cheltenham Half.  Next on the list is the Bournemouth Half and finally The Great South Run.  She is also doing this with Lisa Richardson who are both raising funds for Sue Ryder Hospice.

Finally we are pleased to announce that Health&Hustle will be presenting at the Hope for Tomorrow conference to their NHS Partners and the Trustee.  Watch out for new teams joining the challenges in the future.
