H8H News Round Up

So what’s going on in the news this week? Well the Autumn challenge ended, see full results here:

The winner of this challenge was Elaine Macdonald from team Macmillan’s who took the title with 1,643,835 steps.  Jane Cantwell took the 15-20k group, Nicky Maunder 10-15k group, Carol Orchard 5-10k group and Sue Hilsdon took the 0-5k crown.  The overall team winners were the NHS Veterans group and the top stepper was Dennis Bridges.

The Christmas Chase has been launched and we are planning a Christmas Fun run on Tuesday 17th December.  Watch out for further discounts coming out on our NHS discounted Fitbit shop, health solutions are giving us a 33% discount on items as part of our exclusive deal with them.  

We want to say a big thank you to Graham Meek who has kindly donated 4 Fitbits to our Hope for Tomorrow team to use recycled Fitbits for patients that use the mobile chemotherapy units.  If you are changing or upgrading and want to donate you Fitbit please let me know.

Have you seen the Cheltenham Challenge shirt for taking part in next years event?
