Gloucester10k Virtual Challenge

Gloucester10k Virtual Challenge

What a weekend the members of the Health&Hustle have had.  A number from the running group have been training hard and signed up for the Gloucester10k virtual challenge.  This is in place of the normal event run yearly, which was turned into a virtual event racing funds for Sue Ryder.

Some of the group are used to running long distance but for some this has been a real challenge, stepping up from 5km to double the distance.  Sarah Riordon-Jones, Tanya Gillard and Kathryn Simmonds should all be proud of their achievements.  What next? We are all taking part in the Hope for Tomorrow 1000mile Challenge and have weekly running events set up on STRAVA.  Why not join us or join the WhatsApp running group.  The support virtually has really helped everyone through these challenging times.  Hopefully it won’t be long before we can start thinking about social distancing running as a group.  Keep watching out for notices on social media.
