December Health&Hustle Update

It’s that time of the year when we head to closure of another challenging year with our health and wellbeing.  Looking back at this years achievements is a reason to be proud of everything, everyone has achieved.  It is humbling that one of our initiatives helped raise over £30k this year for Hope for Tomorrow.  To top of the recognition the Hustle was given special recognition at the Better Care Awards.  Our challenges are still popular and we have over 300 staff and patients taking part in the monthly and workweek hustles.  We will be looking at offering this out to Primary Care in the new year being supported by the CCG who recognised the importance of health and wellbeing, in the workplace and in the community.

Our Couch to 30 minutes is proving to be a big hit and the group is growing.
RunTalkRun or WalkTalkWalk is empowering and helps with encouraging members during the activities.  It has connected members and seen new friendships created within the groups.  Currently the group is now moving onto Week5 of the programme for the next three runs finishing with the traditional Health&Hustle Christmas run on 23 Dec.
