Health&Hustle News Update

As always it’s been very busy at the Health&Hustle HQ with lots of exciting future projects on the horizon.  The current couch programme has hit Week5 which is a major milestone in the programme.  The members have really progressed with the techniques and are now starting to run for longer periods and believe in their confidence that they can do this.  As well as the Tuesday and Thursday couch runs, we have our Monday and Wednesday 5-10km programme, in which we are using the Geoff Galloway techniques to build the members up to their 10km non-stop run by the end of the year.  The banter in both groups are so supportive and using the RunTalkRun theory to help with running at a pace comfortably for each individual.  Stay tuned as we progress to the end of the year and see everyone achieve what they thought was impossible at the start.

Behind the scenes we have been planning our Health&Hustle Christmas Fun on Thursday 15 December, which is a point-to-point run event, navigating as teams around checkpoints in Gloucester City. Teams can be made up with a minimum of 2 to 5 members per team and each team will be required to submit a registration form with the names of individuals in the team along with a Christmas Team Name.  Team registrations will be opened soon to register your interest in this event in association with Gloucester Sports.

We are excited about our latest project we are working on with Fitbit Health solutions (now under the management of Google) and Healthy Lifestyles.  If you are a Fitbit user and use the BestYou app, we are working on integrating Fitbit data into the app, which will save on manual data entry.  We will in time be looking at promoting these facilities for clients and patients who use services, to support diabetes type2 or per diabetics with healthy eating, weight management and activity.
