Gloucestershire Fitbit Health Solutions
Since 2016 we have successfully reached out across
Gloucestershire to deliver a one place portal for Health Members to join and
take part in Fitbit challenges. Since the
acquisition of Fitbit by Google, we have experienced a loss of functionality in
the portal, which has resulted in the admin functionality is not available.
Following discussion with the Fitbit Account Manager, we
have come to a point where we have exhausted negotiations, in which Google are
not prepared to reinstate the corporate dashboard to its original state.
The account manager has been looking at alternatives for the
Hustle, but unfortunately these come at a significant cost. We will continue to use the portal until the
end of this contract that ends in November.
Its not the end of the Hustle, as we have strong links in
the running and walking communities, where you will see from our social media
the successes, we are celebrating following the summer events. Patient Participation Groups are delivering walks for patient groups
and growing throughout the social prescribing community.
The Hustle has always provided activity free of charge and
will continue to do so in the future.
