At 3.15am Jill Oboyle and Jenny Cooper crossed the
finish line on the night rider challenge to raise funds for Motor Neurone
Disease. It was an absolute incredible night, great people and a great
atmosphere. They did it for Marjory who was sadly diagnosed with Motor
Neurone Disease. It was a great way to
spend a night and is thoroughly recommended whether you like cycling or not
Jenny said “This is something I never thought I would agree to do but I wanted a challenge for the New Year to not only help me but to help others”.
When she started training, she couldn’t even cycle a mile so 30 miles was a very scary thought. Driven by the challenge, Marjory provided that motivation who has always been a wonderful friend and supported Jenny every step of the way through thick and thin. Marjory was always fit and healthy, so it's my turn to do something for her and match her fitness regime.
