Health&Hustle News

When I reflect back over the week, I can see why my weekends are used for rest to recharge the batteries ready for the following workweek hustle challenges.  We have had a lot happening with the challenges, the trek across Asia finished and we are now waiting to start a two month hustle battle with the Autumn Challenge.  The team workweek hustle challenges are popular and it is quite evident that there is a lot of steps being completed the challenges.  The overall average steps as a health community is meeting 10k step target.

Congratulations to Tracey W from GHT who won the Workweek Invitational Challenge

The hustle had an opportunity to present an overview to the South Central and West, Commissioning Support Unit, Digital Transformation away day.  This was a challenge in its own right to deliver 3 years of work in 10 minutes, but we did it and we are please to say SCWCSU Digital is officially launched as a team in the hustle and we are Looking forward to contributing to their health and wellbeing program.  It’s not long until we launch the Fitbit film and we have received the marketing material that has been developed by Fitbit Health Solutions.  I am pleased to say this really highlights our great initiative and will be used to promote health solutions.

We have 3 weeks until the couch to 5km programme finishes and we will take a break and to concentrate on building stamina in the current group.  The next couch to 5km will be launched in the new year, so if you set a New Years resolution or just want a challenge, then you are more than welcome to join us.  Last week we had a number of staff and friends from the hustle take part in the Great North Run, congratulations to Linda Edwards, Jane Cantwell, Lisa Richardson and Gary Pearcey who all completed the half marathon route.
